Over the past few days, spring has tipped over into full bloom.

Blossoms at Belmont

On Monday’s ride, I had to stop and take a picture when I realized that I was dressed to match the blooming redbud.

Peug and the redbud

This picture taken courtesy of a 1960s Ford pickup, whose hood was kind enough to hold my camera. Obviously self-timed snaps are something I take very seriously (or maybe it’s just that it was Monday morning?).

Today it’s lovely and sunny, cool…it’s time to give the Bat a spin.

Here in Boston the blossoming has happened very suddenly, because we have had a crazy weather transition from snow and floods one week to 80F the next. It’s all so beautiful, I hope it last just a little while longer despite the weather shananigans!

My magnolia tree is starting to bloom! It makes such a mess, but it’s so pretty!

Yes, I know it’s full on spring. I can tell by the 80 degree temperatures we are getting and by the bloody Oak pollen, making me positively ill, in spite of daily doses of Zyrtec. Sigh, the worst pollen season in ten years they say. I could be out riding, If I hadn’t had allergies since I was twelve.

Full Spring? Well, we’re I’m living it’s been a reprise of winter. In the 20′s this morning. Too early to put away the wool. It’ll get back to spring temps soon. Yeah! I haven’t noticed the bloom.

    Greetings from Toronto, Canada.
I can’t wait for that spring to come here as well. Those colors (and smells) make cycling even better.
    The pictures look great.

Spring has sprung here too! Lovely blossomed trees all around! The bike commute to work is so much more pleasant now :D I find it difficult to take pictures as I commute solo, would be nice to have a bike buddy ;) Happy week end! L xxx

Nice photos. It looks like you are hard focussing on the camera while it was focussing on you. :p
Wish you happy Springtime and biking days.

I’m a little jealous of all these spring flowers. I had to get my studded tire back out yesterday.

Beautiful! Your shirt really does match those pink-purplish flowers exactly! I’ll bet the air in Nashville smells wonderful right now.
