Desperately Seeking . . . Our Site?

Since we started this blog, I’ve often amused myself by reading the keywords people used to get here. Some are quite random — like “Lucinda Williams bicycle,” which sent both Dottie and me scurrying over to Google to find out whether one of our fave singers had actually been pictured on a bike (as far as we could determine, no). A lot of people find us looking for info on models like the Batavus, Pashley and Oma, which aren’t widely represented online.

But, today I noticed that perhaps for the first time, the most popular search terms used to find us were variations on our site name.

picture-1Can people really be looking for us, or are our families and friends just not bothering to bookmark our site? Either way, exciting! 120-odd posts in and we’re still having fun; hope you are too. :)

    LOL…we have had the same thing with people looking for cyclingchicken or cycling chicken….I just thought someone forgot to bookmark us…

    How did I find you? I think I find most of my bike blogs from checkingout all the links of bike blogs I have already found. So I am sure through Charlotte in Boston or Miss Sarah in Edmonton. And yes- I troll the comments too for new bloggers. You guys are bookmarked and on my blog list… :-)

    I always come to you via the Cycling Chainring (http://cyclingchainring.com), and I’m constantly sifting through a lot of their information and finding your posts. There are pages of updates every day, and I dunno why I always happen to click through to your entries; maybe it’s the lack of elitism and all of your references to commuting and having fun, rather than competitive racing (which I also enjoy reading about).

    Either way, I’m glad you’re still enjoying yourself and I hope you continue to do so.
