It should have been a 6-pack of Fat Tire, but when I got to the store I realized instead of a $20 I’d grabbed a $5. Sigh.

I don’t think your rack would have supported a 6-pack. You need a frame-mounted one, for real. What happened to Mr. Basket?

According to Mr. D. (who read the package instructions), it is supposed to be able to hold 20 lbs. But like you, I am skeptical. This was going to be a test. Mr. Basket was taking a break–I’d been working on my bike earlier in the day and had taken it off to remove my front reflector (which was covered by the basket anyway).
