Hours of Daylight

Have you noticed?  The sun is starting to set earlier.

I feel cheated when dusk sets in by 8:00 p.m.  But in a few months I know the daylight will be gone by 4:30.

Here’s to the long days of summer, while supplies last.

I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday!! … and also because I was caught without my lights and become one of ‘those’ cyclists riding without lights at dusk.

I have noticed this very fact when I’m out later in the evenings, it is definitely getting much darker, much earlier. It’s so funny how it happens slowly, but then I notice it suddenly one day in particular. For me, Monday evening was the first night it became clear that we’re heading into another season. Very glad I’ve been packing lights with me pretty much every day in case of a late evening out. :O)

Yes, it’s a clear reminder that summer is drawing to a close and soon fall will be here.  Bittersweet, because fall is my favorite season, but this has been such a fun summer.

I have not been so good with packing lights with me, but I need to start.

Have you noticed that nobody complains about daylight savings time when we’re enjoying the later hours? It always amuses me when all the moaning starts when we have to change our clocks.
