The picture is timeless, subject captures the season well and photographer expressed it well. Makes you wish you were there(one thousand words could not express it better).

  5. Nadine says:

Okay, I’m going to have to pick this up. Loved that picture back in the colder days, and this really is the message of LGRAB and – I think – the future of better transportation.

  6. Herzog says:

    Hottie.

  7. Xtra says:

Viking warrior princess, conquering the world by bike…

Nice. I love when you talk that way.

This is a really great photo. Has a post-apocalyptic feel to it, like “Last Woman Standing”. You almost look Norse; like you’ve just arrived on our wintery shores… and you mean business. You should be holding a sword.

  11. maureen says:

Congratulations, you are both very deserving of being acknowledged/featured in the magazine. Neat!

Mmmm. My feelings exactly. Though perhaps we might want to keep a little oil around for lubing the chains and whatnot or for making specialized medicines & such that can’t otherwise be made. But those are at least useful things for oil to do ~ unlike powering SUVs to the next stoplight for another 3 minutes of idling.

  17. Curly Suze says:

What kind of snow tires are those anyway? Schwalbe HS 264s? (just curious .. am planning ahead for when it gets colder)

  18. Jeanette says:

Iconic photo, empowering message. Kudos to both of you!

Great Photo Dottie!!! I am planning on winter biking for the 1st time this year. Did you find it hard to put winter tyres on your Oma with the fenders? I’ve been advised it might be hard with the Pashley + fenders.

    You look very Russian Royalty:)

    • Dottie says:

Thanks. No problem with the fenders and winter tires. In fact, the studded tires are smaller my regular Oma tires, so there is more clearance with the studded tires.

  23. Beany says:

I forgot to congratulate you on showing up in YES! That picture is one of my all time favorites.

  24. meligrosa says:
