Hot Legs

Somehow I’d missed seeing this movie until last year—this is one of my favorite scenes. It’s amazing how effortless the puppeteers make this look. If Kermit were a regular bike rider, his legs would have been even more drool-worthy for Charles Durning and his customers. And then there’s the bike’s geometry, which looks a little off. Perhaps Schwinn designed a special “frog” model?

Oh my gosh, you know how much I love the Muppet Movie…and I’m pretty sure you used to tease me for this. Hmmm…;) hehe. Love the post, Trish!

Oh how I love his banjo in his front basket. You know if that movie were made today, Kermit definitely would be wearing a helmet…

  • Lovely Bicycle!

Are there really so many songs about rainbows, and what’s on the other side?

Oh Trisha, that is too funny!

Not to be all nerdy or anything but how strange the drivetrain is on the left. Kermie is also apparently a lefty banjo picker, so I thought maybe the pic was backwards but then the sign lettering is OK, so now I’m confused.

I’d never seen that before and laughed like a little girl at Kermie’s closing line :)
